As current Director of KCon Maintenance & Construction, Kobus Malan was a Proprerty Portfolio Manager for 5 years where after he became a building inspector for a major Managing Agent in Centurion for 9 years.

During this time, he conducted inspections and compiled comprehensive retention reports to a major national development company on completion of new residential complexes.

He also attended to inspections and reports of rental properties and buildings at times of large maintenance projects.

For 5 years he has been working for a General Maintenance Company that exclusively did work in the insurance industry where they did repairs and maintenance after disasters which include landslides, fires, water damage etc. Clients included all major banks and private insurance companies

They also attended to comprehensive damage reports with photo's etc that was included for insurance purposes.

Because of his building-, maintenance- and insurance experience and knowledge, he started K Con Maintenance & Construction to deliver the service he always expected of the contractors he contracted during his time employed in the property management industry.
