Trip7 was established by local entrepreneur, Vincent Lapan in Brisbane in 2013 where he succesfully transformed the homes and lives of dozens of Australians. This was part of a franchise called Hire A Hubby which he has run for the past 4 years.
Before this he was involved in construction and renovation industry for over 20 years both in South Africa and in Brisbane.

With the knowledge and experience obtained in Australia the high standard of workmanship and professionalism is now ingrained in his attitude to building and visible in everything he does from small jobs to complete new builds. He started in this industry as a hobby with the desire of completing jobs properly from a young age. Now he’s managed to use these skills to turn a hobby into a successful business. The result from a job well done gives him a great sense of pride and satisfaction.

In order to complete any building construction in Australia he had to obtain a ‘low rise building licence’ certificate, which included plumbing, electrical works and carpentry. He also obtained his licences in security which included, alarm installations, security and cabling, CCTV, as well as the installation of data and voice networks.

His certification in Australia required strict compliance to standards that are much more stringently adhered to and have resulted in him approaching building from the point of view of quality which is nevertheless affordable.
While there are standards in South Africa, compliance isn’t as seriously monitored, and inspections aren’t as stringent. For minor renovations and works there can be no inspection at all.
